Where are Grihum accomodations located?
We are located in the heart of Ranchi city in Radha Gobind Street Tharpakhna, we are also coming soon with more locations.
What makes Grihum unique?
We believe in everything technology, with a policy of paper free zone, we offer the utmost security, a connected community living expeirnece and most of all a space that you can call “inspiring”.
Who can live at Grihum?
Right now, Grihum Tharpakhna is designed for female students and working professionals only, offering a space for the youth from all walks of life.
What do you serve in terms of food?
Grihum includes unlimited veg and non veg food items in all meals. Usually 4 course meal includes salad, starter, maincourse and dessert. See our Nest Café page for more details.
Can I bring guests?
We do not allow guests to rooms for safety reasons.
Is there a warden?
No, we do not have a warden, Our Grihum campus has a happiness manager.
How do I book a room at Grihum?

Can I choose my roommate?
You will be sent a questionnaire before we confirm your room, we’ll try best to accommodate to your needs.
Are short term stays allowed?
No, we do not allow short term stays, our shortest-term contract is for 3 months
Can I switch rooms after booking?
Typically, subject to availability, we do allow switching rooms.
What documents are required for booking?
As with any hospitality stay, we require your valid Government ID and your student/work ID.
Is there an age limit for residents?
No, there are no age limitations to residents however we are a youth student residence and give preference to working professionals and students.
Can I book for a group of friends?
Yes, we do offer group bookings, and you can request adjacent or shared rooms.
Do prices vary for Grihum?
Like any hospitality chain, our prices vary as per availability and occupancy.
Are there timing restrictions?
We typically have a gate lock policy at 9PM and should guardians or parents want to opt for automatic notification for late arrival however we believe that we are a hospitality chain and this is your home.
What payment methods does Grihum accept?
We accept online payments only including credit/debit, UPI and NEFT/RTGS.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required during booking depending on the selected room category and duration.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, installment payment options are available online, please check with our team for specific terms.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Late payments may incur interest on room rent, for any emergency circumstances contact your happiness manager.
Is there a refund policy?
We typically allow cancellation on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer discounts?
No, we do not have discounts however we have an exciting referral program.
What is the referral program?
10% on first month rent for both participants. Refer to T&C for referral program.
